International (LN) exists to transform African health centers to provide
quality, sustainable care. Operating in East Africa, LN works to improve the
quality of health systems from the ground up and is specifically dedicated to
health systems strengthening in the private not-for-profit sector. In Uganda,
approximately 60% of all healthcare services are provided by faith-based
not-for-profit centers, many of these serving rural, low-income populations.
Through partnerships with faith-based health centers, LifeNet implements
practical responses to everyday health challenges facing the poor.
Job Summary:  The Driver will take regular visits throughout
Kampala as well as taking LifeNet team members outside of Kampala for work
projects. On a monthly basis, the job will require overnight stays outside of
Kampala. This job requires punctuality, thoughtfulness, and a safety-first
mentality. 
In addition to
driving duties, responsibilities will include assisting in collecting data on
the field and working with the LifeNet Uganda Country Director and the team.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must be a Driver must have a high level of experience
    driving around Kampala and around Uganda.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Basic knowledge in computer use.
  • Willingness to work within and alongside faith-based organizations .
  • Hold a perfect driving record and active driver’s permit (minimum
    class B). Possession of a certificate in Defensive driving is a plus.
