Frontieres (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian
organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict,
epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care. Medecins Sans
Frontieres assists victims of war, displaced and disable people in situation of
armed conflicts.
/Psychiatrist) will provide clinical supervision through monthly collective
and, if needed, individual sessions to Mental Health and SGBV teams to
reinforce good practices and quality of care provided to South-Sudanese
refugees victims of traumatic events and/or victims of SGBV
health and SGBV staff on:
Keeping
an emotional distance from their patients by venting out heavy stories
Keeping
an active thinking position
Discussion
on specific cases to adapt work and attitude
Understanding
better patients’ needs through technical enlightenments on the issues tackled
Sharing
tools and enhancing team work
in respect of confidentiality if needed, and suggest solutions:

Issues

The
ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Clinical Psychology/Psychiatry
Must
possess a valid registration with the AHPC
Clinical
psychologist/psychiatrist with clinical background
Five years
of experience as a psychotherapist
Experience
in providing collective/individual clinical supervision
Experience
in psycho-trauma and SGBV would be an asset
Flexibility
and availability to discuss over the phone any emotional/technical emergency
Understanding
of group dynamics
Confidentiality
Knowledge
of the local language is an advantage
