Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicant
must hold a high school leaving certificate. Further technical education
preferred
·        
A
minimum of 5 years work experience or further education is required.
·        
At least
two years of oil and gas experience is required.
·        
OCTG
Experience – A minimum of 1 year OCTG experience is required. (eg casing crews,
licensees or inspection companies)
·        
Other
Inspection Experience – Experience &/or certification in DrillString
product inspection and/or holding (ASNT) Level II certification in Magnetic
Particle or Liquid Penetrant or LEEA an advantage.

Assembly
Make-up – You may be required to have the skills to do assembly make-up
·        
Rig
Ready /Rig Return – You will be required to have the skills to do rig ready /
rig return
·        
Maintenance
– You will be required to have the skills to do maintenance inspection
·        
Goods
Received – You will be required to have the skills to do goods received
inspection
·        
Mathematics
– You will be required to have the skills to calculate formulas
·        
Stock
Management Assistance – You will be required to assist Stockyard Supervisors
regarding stock management

skills – You are required to have good interpersonal skills
·        
Report
writing – You are required to have the skills to do report writing
·        
IT
skills – Wordprocessing, spreadsheets, email – You are required to have good IT

to work under pressure – You are required to work under pressure from others
members at work site
