- Facilitate the process of releasing procurement / Logistics related
requests on Pro-Vision. - Ensure that all requests made on Pro-Vision are complete in terms of
account coding and specifications. - Request for quotations as assigned by the Logistics officer
- Receive and register quotations/ bids submitted
- Work in close liaison with requestor, verify deliveries to ensure
that they match the request and that they are of quality and not damaged. - Prepare payment requests for delivered and received goods (adhere to
payment request payment checklist) - Seek approval of payment requests
- Register and submit payment request to finance to enable payment
procession - For invoices submitted for vehicle hires, verify distances against
rates in the submitted taxi hire forms. - Responsible for archiving procurement documents (i. e file copy of
Contracts, Procurement minutes & other important documents). - Prepare monthly procurement report.
- Perform any other roles as assigned by the Logistics Officer
- The applicant for the World Vision Procurement Assistant job
placement should preferably hold a Degree in Procurement and Logistics
Management, Business Administration or related field. - Previous experience in the usage of computers and office software
packages (MS Word, Excel and Access) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
