over 23,000 borrowers, through a network of 36 branches countrywide. The bank
offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts,
Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which
comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
Job Summary:  The Human Resource Manager will implement the
HR policies, ensure staff compliance with the policies & procedures and
provide HR support to the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Implement the HR policy and participate in the development of the HR
    budgets.
  • Implement the performance management system and processes .
  • Implement the company’s code of conduct.
  • Draft necessary correspondences regarding all matters of HR nature.
  • Ensure harmonious industrial relations amongst the staff body.
  • Implement any structural changes on the organisational structure
  • Participate in  and implement
    the job evaluation processes.
  • Ensure safety and maintenance
    of personal files for all employees.
  • Implement the health and safety policy of the bank.
  • Implement Employee reward and recognition programs.
  • Manage the performance of staff under your supervision.
  • Implement the exit policy.
  • Implement the retention policy.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant for the Finance Trust Bank (FTB) Human Resource
    Manager job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource
    or other Humanities from a reputable Institution.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • A minimum of three years working experience in a similar position at
    a supervisory level, in a busy organisation.
  • Working knowledge of all the relevant Labour laws
  • Computer literacy is a requirement for the role.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Empathy, patience and high tolerance for stress.
  • Counseling skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet short deadlines.
  • High resilience, flexibility and capability of handling emergencies.
