services business of Uganda Finance Trust Limited (MDI). Finance Trust Bank is
a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 400,000 depositors and
over 23,000 borrowers, through a network of 36 branches countrywide. The bank
offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts,
Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which
comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
HR policies, ensure staff compliance with the policies & procedures and
provide HR support to the business.
- Implement the HR policy and participate in the development of the HR
budgets. - Implement the performance management system and processes .
- Implement the company’s code of conduct.
- Draft necessary correspondences regarding all matters of HR nature.
- Ensure harmonious industrial relations amongst the staff body.
- Implement any structural changes on the organisational structure
- Participate in and implement
the job evaluation processes. - Ensure safety and maintenance
of personal files for all employees. - Implement the health and safety policy of the bank.
- Implement Employee reward and recognition programs.
- Manage the performance of staff under your supervision.
- Implement the exit policy.
- Implement the retention policy.
- The applicant for the Finance Trust Bank (FTB) Human Resource
Manager job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource
or other Humanities from a reputable Institution. - Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
- A minimum of three years working experience in a similar position at
a supervisory level, in a busy organisation. - Working knowledge of all the relevant Labour laws
- Computer literacy is a requirement for the role.
- Good leadership skills.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Empathy, patience and high tolerance for stress.
- Counseling skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to consistently meet short deadlines.
- High resilience, flexibility and capability of handling emergencies.
