Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Submit approved claims advice statements to the Accounts manager
- Obtain confirmation from the Accounts Manager various claims and
file such evidence appropriately - Assist in the reconciliation process by calling and or visiting
clients to collect further supporting evidence and later close off period
accounts. - Guide clients on submitting future claims correctly
- Manage and handle all data with confidentiality
- Prepare monthly expenditures and make sure all expenditures are
booked correctly. - Prepare cashbook and monthly reconciliation of the project pass
through fund account - Process payment of expenses
- Ensure that advances are accounted for/retired on a timely basis
- Prepare monthly project financial report
- Management of voucher stock
- Scan all newly printed vouchers and issue and capture vouchers
- Maintain up to-date and accurate records
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Accounting, Finance or related field relevant to the position
requirements - A minimum of two years of experience in Book Keeping in a busy
environment - Tally experience preferred but not necessary
- Professional level oral and written fluency in English language
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
applications (Excel spreadsheets, word processing, and electronic mail
along with data entry experience)
