Stiftung Africa is a not-for-profit organization with the objective of
promoting sustainable development by implementing agricultural related projects
to improve the social and economic situation of small-scale coffee farmers
whilst protecting natural resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinating, directing and overseeing the activities of 3-4
    Database Officers based in field offices
  • Supporting and training, where necessary, the Database Officers
  • Maintaining and updating a central database for all projects
  • Supporting the planning and execution of field assessments and
  • Ensuring timely data collection and data quality
  • Analysing collected data and developing reports for management and
    for the M&E Coordinator

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least ten years of experience in a similar position
  • Solid experience with digital data collection tools
  • Solid experience with data management and analysis
  • Previous experience with creation of Evaluation Reports
  • Previous experience in managing teams of Database Officers
  • Excellent computer skills and experience, data processing programs
    and statistical packages
  • A good understanding of IT and general technical skills for
    maintaining hardware and software
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel is a prerequisite, experience with
    COMMCARE, SurveyCTO or Tableau are of advantage
  • Good command of English language
