About US:
Hanns R. Neumann
Stiftung Africa is a not-for-profit organization with the objective of
promoting sustainable development by implementing agricultural related projects
to improve the social and economic situation of small-scale coffee farmers
whilst protecting natural resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinating, directing and overseeing the activities of the Field
    Operation Managers implementing various projects
  • In collaboration with the Field Operation Managers developing work
    plans and ensuring the timely implementation of activities
  • In collaboration with the Finance and Administration Manager
    controlling and managing field activity budgets
  • Where required supporting the M&E Coordinator is coordinating
    field surveys
  • Compiling project narrative reports and ensuring timely delivery to
    the General Manager
  • Identifying further capacity building requirements for field staff
  • Where required participating and representing Hanns R. Neumann
    Stiftung Africa in sector meetings and workshops
  • Supporting project acquisition and fund raising

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in a related discipline –
    agricultural development
  • A minimum of fifteen years of experience in managing multiple
    projects or programs supporting smallholder development
  • Solid experience in managing and coordinating multiple field teams
  • Excellent knowledge of project cycle management
  • Excellent command of English language, communication and writing
    skills
  • Willing to travel both nationally and internationally
