Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK)
Institute Kigumba (UPIK) was established by the Statutory instrument No. 31 of
2011: The Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Acts, 2006
(Establishment of Uganda Petroleum Institute, Kigumba) in July, 2011. The
mandate of UPIK is to provide a world-class education in geosciences and
petroleum engineering in order to support and advance the petroleum and energy
sectors in Uganda, East Africa and beyond.
- Ensure that all Institute property is safe and kept in the right
place. - Open doors/windows and lock lecturer rooms, laboratories and offices
after lectures on time. - Ensure that all premises and installations are kept clean and in
good working condition. - Manage sanitary cleaners and office attendants.
- Regularly report breakages of equipment, furniture and other
installations at the Institute to the Estates Officer. Custody and ensure
repair of public address system, overhead, slide and LCD projectors. - Perform any other duty that may be assigned
- Applicants must possess an Advanced level certificate (UACE) with at
least one principal pass or an equivalent qualification. - Must have relevant certificate in Management, Administration
- At least one year working experience in a reputable Educational training
organization. - Age: Below 40
years
