Job Summary:   The Manager, Business Development acquires
Satisfies & Retain Clients and Business Opportunities. The incumbent
contributes to the development of a marketing strategy and tactics consistent
with the organization’s overall mission, vision, and objectives using data
driven recommendations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Scan the market and Research organizations on a regular basis to
    seize business opportunities, including tenders and RFPs under 3PL and
    Pharmaceutical business units.
  • Maintain the BLL Product and services profile. Manage the process of
    identification and acquisition of the critical components required to
    service clients’ needs.
  • Use business acumen and best judgment to determine appropriate
    follow up to close business with potential clients. Drive Marketing
    projects to completion by leading, directing, evaluating, and developing a
    team of marketing professionals that effectively implement the marketing
    strategy and deliver on organizational objectives.
  • Develop a business growth strategy focused both on customer
    satisfaction and financial gain. Manage customer – BLL relationships with
    clients in line with service level agreements.
  • Support the prequalification of BLL with potential clients. Maintain
    an up to date inventory of documents required for pre-qualification and
    bidding opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in the Health sector,
    anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and
    adapting strategy accordingly.
  • Manage communication and interaction with various target audiences
    (e.g. clients, partners, and suppliers) through various methods including
    social media, branded communication materials and periodic field visits.
    Define measures of success, recommend choice of media, and allocate
    resources so marketing strategies are effective, economical, and
    appropriate for the intended audience.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing,
    Pharmaceutical Sciences or related qualification preferred.
  • Additional MBA, MCIM, OR other relevant Sales & Marketing
  • Three years of working experience in a related business field.
  • Demonstrated customer orientation, commitment to flawless execution
    and detail orientation. Strong organizational skills, integrity and great
    follow through. Not overwhelmed easily!
  • Highly creative, innovative and self-motivated to take the
    initiative to find solutions. Analytical Thinker – ability to compile,
    analyze data to tell the story and drive results.
  • Quick to discover current trends and understand emerging marketing
  • Keen attention to detail and proven ability to handle confidential
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills,
    advanced computer skills in: Excel, Power Point, and Word.
