Job Summary:  The Global Operations Manager will manage the
daily operations of our cross-border e-commerce business in uganda
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with our logistic providers to ensure at top-notch E2E
    logistic from China to our warehouse
  • Prepare all documents required for overseas air shipments
  • Work with our warehouse and logistic teams to reduce average
    delivery time to our customers
  • Check with our Finance team all the invoices and payments done to
    our sellers and logistic providers
  • Constantly improve our customer experience (packages, labels,
    delivery time etc.)
  • Coordinate with CS to handle customer requests for Jumia Global
    items (aftersales experience, wrong content etc.)
  • Manage all stakeholders of Jumia Global in your country (Content,
    Onsite, IT, Finance, CS, logistics, marketing) and in China (commercial
    and ops team).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • Ability to meet demanding targets
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong drive and leadership
  • Impeccable communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Analytical skills (proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
