Job Summary:    The Security Administrator will improve and
maintain the safety of our distribution center. Areas of responsibility include
protection of employees, company assets, accident prevention, and accident
response. provide professional & courteous security & reception
services to visitors and staff. To play a role in crime reduction initiatives
with the police and outsourced security providers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Receive and book in visitors to the site, issue them with the
    appropriate ID passes, directing them to the correct destination and
    contact the relevant host. Improve security awareness by directing people
    towards sources of advice or information.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors,
    vendors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of
    premises paying close attention to security screening process.
  • Monitor the CCTV system, access control system, fire alarm system
    and panic alarm system. Respond immediately to intruder/panic/fire alarms
    upon activation during working hours. Ensure that fire alarm testing takes
    place and is recorded; report any faults to your supervisor.
  • Move throughout all areas, circulating among visitors, patrons, or
    employees to visually monitor and take corrective action when needed in
    order to preserve order and protect property.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as
    equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or
    unusual occurrences. Document all incidents in the daily occurrence book.
  • Perform reception duties as required, such as work processing,
    answering phones and managing visitor car parking. Prioritize tasks and
    respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Attend and manage any accident / incident involving any member of
    staff or visitors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a diploma in social administration or related
    field and have a background in security services.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Can develop and build good client & customer relationships
  • Can prioritize tasks and to respond to a variety of needs and work
    pressures created by colleagues and members of the public including rapid
    response to emergencies.
  • Has good knowledge of health and safety and Adheres to BLL health
    and safety regulations.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Can write accurate, legible operational logs, security reports and
