National Medical
Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of
Parliament 1993. Our mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and
other medical supplies to public health facilities in Uganda.
Job Summary:   The Clients Services Officer will achieve and
maintain customer satisfaction by directing and controlling the processing and
fulfillment of customer orders to their full satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Tasked with receiving customer orders and initiating order
    processing in line with set procedures
  • Assuring full customer order fulfillment in assigned service area
    and focus items
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure that service area
    requirements are fully met as hereunder:
  • Ensuring availability and adequacy of the procurement plans for
    agreed items
  • Ensuring that proper analysis of consumption is done for agreed
  • Monitor and evaluate availability, accuracy and adequacy call offs
    for agreed items
  • Prepare monthly reports for service areas
  • To identify any risk(s) noted during the course of execution of your
    duties and formally report to your immediate supervisor
  • Suggest and advise SCSO on service improvements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the National Medical Stores (NMS) Clients Services
    Officer job must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Member of Allied Health Professional Council
  • A minimum of two years of working experience in a busy
    pharmaceutical setting
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Ms word, Ms Excel and
    Power point
