Job Summary: The Head Teller is mainly responsible for
ensuring adherence to general controls at the branch in close operation with
the Branch Operations Supervisor. He/She
will also be accountable for upholding the general customer experience service
standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the branch business growth initiatives, both assets
and liabilities - Up hold the customer service standards in one’s day to day operations
as per the customer service policy - Ensure proper management and resolution of customer’s complaints as
per the complaints management process - Perform all Teller duties as per detailed in the Banking Services
branch operations procedure manual - Carry out co-custodianship duties as stipulated in the referenced
policies and procedures document - Ensure 100% adherence to the referenced policies and procedures
- Perform snap checks and ensure fixing of outstanding issues
- Follow up on closure of assurance reviews by Audit, Risk, Compliance
and the regulator
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the FINCA Uganda Head Teller job must hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration and any other
Business related field - A minimum of two years of work experience in a financial institution
in Banking Operations Unit. - Strong analytical and transaction reconciliation skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good communication and supervisory skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Professionalism
