Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasked with preparing of Financial Statement for the year end.
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow projection reports.
- Preparing and submitting management financial reports.
- Preparing & submitting statutory returns and reports.
- Supervising and appraising staff performance.
- Supervising and monitoring the General ledger.
- Performing other duties as may become necessary for the smooth
running of the Department or Company as a whole.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
(Accounting) or Business Administration (Accounting) from a formally
recognized institution. - The applicant must be a member of Association of Chartered Certified
Accountant (ACCA) or Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Uganda
ICPA (U). - A Master’s degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a Senior Position.
- Proficiency in relevant computer Accounting Packages (SAP Accounting
System) - Possess excellent analytical skills
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Must be result-oriented and a team player with a high degree of
professionalism
