Executive Director
Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is Uganda’s apex body for the private sector. It is
made up of 220 members covering the whole spectrum of business in the country.
Its members are drawn from business membership organisations, corporate bodies
and the major public sector agencies that support private sector growth. PSFU
is the focal point for Public-Private Dialogue on policy related matters and
aims to strengthen Private Sector capacity for effective market
competitiveness.

- Deputise the Executive Director.
- Take charge of and be accountable for PSFU revenue mobilization
efforts particularly with regards to improving the yield of existing
revenue streams as well as developing new ones - Coordinate the work of independent projects, ensuring they are
executed in accordance with their financing agreements and that value for
money and accountability (financial and results) are achieved. - Provide ongoing support to the PSD to ensure that member needs are
prioritised and that resources are secured to fund programs necessary to
address those needs. - Support the executive director in securing and nurturing beneficial
relationships and partnerships with policy makers, development partners
and business leaders.
- The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in economics or business
related discipline such as an MBA from a recognised University or an
equivalent professional qualification from a recognised professional body. - Candidate must be a senior professional with a verifiable record of
achievement in various roles in respected institutions particularly
development partners or the private sector. - Results focused with unquestionable integrity
- Good understanding of the private sector development environment
- Persistent, innovative and able to operate individually, in teams
and in multi cultural environments. - A successful track record of at least seven years’ experience in a
senior management position. This will be in a Public or Private
business-oriented institution. - Experience at senior management level in a Business Membership
Organisation will be an added advantage.
