in Kyegegwa district. He or she will be expected to comply with the
organizational policies and operations as his/her duties state. S/he will be
expected to attend and participate in devotions and be an example to others
through their faith and walk with God.
- Work together with other guards to ensure security of both property
and other people at Samaritan’s purse field office during day and night
by: - Checking and making sure that all the property is intact.
- Not allowing unauthorized persons into the premises. All SP staff
have IDs with them, you may ask for one especially if one is new. - Ensure that all lighting and other security agents are functional
and inform the concerned persons in case they are not functional. - Office premises, outlets are under lock and key especially if staff
are absent or not in office. - Gate keeping especially for incoming and outgoing staff and guests.
- Making sure that proper hand over procedures are followed when going
off duty. That means informing the incoming guard of what if going on and
any correspondence in your possession. - Being alert on guard especially at night.
- Hand over when going off duty; updating the incoming guard of what
is on the ground and including handing over every document or any
correspondence in your possession. - Receive guest and visitors in a more pleasant manner, help them fill
in the visitors book and provide seats at the reception room while they
wait for the person (s) they want to meet. Always maintain good moral
conduct while on duty. - Receive correspondence in case the messenger is leaving soon and
hand it over to the administrative officer. - Give a hand in other activities when asked unless you are busy with
guarding activities/ services such as keeping a keen eye on personal
vehicles parked outside the office to ensure that they are safe.
- The applicant for the Samaritan’s Purse Security Guard job placement
should hold an O’ level certificate
or other relevant field - Five years of related work experience plus field level security
management experience. Applicant should possess strong time management
skills. - The candidate should be personable and result-oriented
- Must be a Christian, agree with and uphold the values and objectives
of the organization to be considered for this position.
