Director Performance Monitoring
Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is established under
the PPDA Act No.1 of 2003 to develop standards and regulate procurement and
disposal practices in respect of all Procuring and Disposing Entities which
include Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments, State
Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and post primary training
institutions.

- Provide leadership, direction, supervisory, performance management
of staff and managing relationships with key stakeholders in the region. - Provide guidance to entities and providers in the region.
- Plan the activities to be implemented in the region for the year and
monitor execution of work plan. - Chair meetings on investigations.
- Provide advice and management of GPP in the region.
- Oversee the conduct of procurement audits and investigations in the
PDEs in the region. - Supervise capacity building activities in the region.
- Manage the register of providers.
- Ensure follow-up is made to the recommendations of the Authority.
- Manage the daily operations of the regional office in close
coordination with head office. - Ensure safe custody of cash, monitor the office cash imprest levels
and ensure replenishment is done in a timely manner. - Ensure implementation of sound systems of internal controls in
financial and other scope of functions at the region. - Provide monthly brief to management on key activities.
- Prepare quarterly progress reports.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Director Performance
Monitoring.
- The ideal candidate for the Public Procurement and Disposal of
Public Assets Authority (PPDA) Regional Manager job placement must hold an
Honourβs degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce,
Statistics, Economics, Social Science, Engineering and other related
fields. - Masterβs degree in any of the above fields.
- Full professional qualification in CIPS, ACCA, CIA, CPA or related
professional qualification. - At least five years of experience in public procurement with at
least 3 years managing/leading functional teams.
