Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meeting of the set annual country sales
targets. - Increasing the company’s energy business
market share in Uganda. - Proactively defining and identifying
business opportunities. - Visiting of current and potential
customers for maintaining and initiating business relations (attracting
new clients). - Developing of the existing business
relationships with key clients. - Collecting information concerning
market, competitors and clients. - Review tender documents and create a
summary of the key requirements. - Organizing the whole process and
preparation of bid documentation according to participation in various bid
procedures; accordance with the specific technical and administrative
requirements of the project. - Developing of tender documentation in
accordance with the specific technical requirements of the project. - Reviewing offers and contracts with
customers according to the specific company requirements. - Executing and controlling the
performance of orders and contracts under the stipulated and agreed terms.
- Any other duty that may be assigned by
management from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a
Technical degree in the field of Electrical Engineering or Business
(Having both is an added advantage) - Three years of sales experience of
energy related equipment - Basic knowledge of order and application
conditions of the PPDA Act. - Understanding of technical/commercial
requirements of the energy concessions in Uganda (Eskom, UEGCL, UETCL,
REA, UMEME etc.) - Experience in sales of HV/MV &
Substation equipment, line materials, energy protection equipment, energy
metering equipment, SCADA, distribution transformers and Power generation
equipment. - Good knowledge and full understanding
for complete HV and MV power supply solution; (candidates with capability
to learn can also apply). - Availability for traveling in and
outside of Uganda. - Oral and written communication skills in
English are a must
