Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance operations and procedures
- Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety requirements
- Ensure proper maintenance of all plant equipment (including
preventative plant maintenance scheduling) - Troubleshoot, diagnose and proactively address all plant and fleet
maintenance issues and requests to ensure optimal equipment/plant
performance and to minimize downtime.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply
Chain and or Animal Nutrition will be an advantage. - At least ten years of managerial experience in the specified field
of expertise, with special focus on the management of the following
departments within the company such as Logistics Maintenance and Security.
- Previous experience in working with little supervision.
- Excellent organizational and staff management skills, especially
having managed large teams. - Excellent writing skills and planning skills with the ability to
prepare budgets and monitor costs against budget
