Job Summary: The
Marketing Officer-Technical will provide expert technical advice to customers
regarding the use and application of UCL products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical problem analysis and solutions to customers about
product usage. - Conduct periodical dissemination of product values, attributes, and
best handling practices. - Disseminate technical product knowledge and product application
skills to the sales team. - Subscribe to leading national and international civil engineering
associations and forums. - Provide customers with free technical advice, handle BOQs &
manage customer complaints. - Actively contribute to the development and continuous update of
UCL’s promotional materials. - Contribute input data to Research & Development particularly,
suggestions on new product ideas. - Anticipate and design customer oriented products, strategies,
systems and processes that safely realise the required objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Uganda Clays Limited (UCL) Marketing Officer – Technical must
hold a Bachelor’s Degree / Higher
-Diploma in Civil/Building Engineering. - Business related proficiency is an advantage.
- At least three years of experience in a sales and marketing field.
- Significant experience of the building trade and of baked clay
products in particular
