Job Summary: The Hygiene Officer will manage and implement
effective food hygiene measures which ensure food is prepared in a safe and
hygienic manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all
departments within the commissary to ensure compliance with the local
regulatory laws, licensing conditions and international standards in food
safety. - Conducting daily hygiene inspection and sanitation conditions of all
production and storage areas. - Manage and maintain food safety documentation and records.
- Conducting training in food safety and hygiene for food handlers
including induction training for new staff & refreshes. Advice on
training needs. - Monitor and implement effectiveness and pest management program and
report any deficiencies. - Manage and initiate the traceability system established.
- Support the QA Supervisor in investigating complains both food
safety and quality related. - Ensuring timely and accurate ATP swab testing on a weekly basis
systematically reviewing the performance of hygiene practices.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Java House Hygiene Officer must hold a
Food science degree or diploma. - Two years of experience working in a QA related position in an FMCG
environment. - Qualification or experience in ISO 22000/ HACCP.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to focus and make decisions under pressure.
- High analytical, able to determine probably root cause and implement
solutions. - Works well within a matrix structure
- Enthusiastic leader, able to motivate the team when a challenging
situation arises. - Strong attention to detail, seeks out information that helps deliver
the section targets. - Demonstrates strong safety awareness at all times.
