Finance Manager
Organization for Development Cooperation (ICCO Cooperation) is an international

responsible for the stewardship of ICCO CESA assets and reputation by ensuring
compliance with local laws, regulations, and member/donor requirements. The FA
supports the budget holders of Programmes in the Country in tracking expenses
vs. budget in the most efficient and timely manner. The FA is responsible for
all office financial transactions entry and analysis at country level. The FA
will be directly responsible for the provision of technical support to the
Finance and Administration Function by ensuring that the ICCO finance policies
and procedures are adhered to.

- Support the Regional Finance Manager in the preparation and
submission of annual budgets. - Prepare monthly budgetary control statements to determine financial
performance of the relevant Programme and individual projects - Compile monthly liquidity requests & cash flow
projections/forecast on a monthly basis for review and approval by the
Regional Finance Manager before sending to global office
Administration
- Review the codes on the payment requisitions before entry into
Finance system - Review of staff accountabilities like travel accountabilities, entry
in the system and reconciliation on a monthly basis - Process payments through the electronic banking system and by
cheque. - Implement and maintain an effective filing system to ensure that all
financial records are easily accessible and readily available. - Check and carry out the petty cash counts each month with the

- Process payroll monthly and ensure that statutory deductions (NSSF
and PAYE) are remitted to the relevant authorities, printing and filing
necessary reports - Process automatic payment of staff salaries on 25th day of the month
(or nearest working day) - Allocate code and post payroll information to Financial System
- Reconcile the salary control account.
- Check the correctness of coding, completeness of financial documents
and review the payments prior to posting to the Financial system - Verification and certification of accurate transactions in
accordance with the standard guidelines - Post financial expenditures in the system and compiling monthly
expenditure reports, analyse the reports and present it to the Regional
Finance Manager for discussion
- Act as a bank agent
- Manage all bank accounts and review the accuracy of bank
reconciliation statements on a monthly basis and follow up on any
reconciling items.
Facilitating both internal
& external audits and the preparation of financial statements for auditors both
office and donor audits.

- The ideal candidate for the ICCO Cooperation Financial Administrator
job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or
related field - Two years of working experience in a similar position with
International NGO’s. - Excellent computer skill (MS Office package) and other web based
accounting systems. - Strong financial background with knowledge of different funding
modalities - Good interpersonal & communication skills, including
intercultural communication - Excellent language skills in English
- Stress management and ability to multitask
- Analytical and problem solving skills
