Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is established under
the PPDA Act No.1 of 2003 to develop standards and regulate procurement and
disposal practices in respect of all Procuring and Disposing Entities which
include Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments, State
Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and post primary training
institutions.

development of a robust platform for the Authority’s strategic planning and
performance measurement as well as to provide a mechanism for an effective
communication and ICT frameworks.
- To contribute towards strategic and operational planning of PPDA
ensuring that there is a clear operational plan and strategy that measures
the effective implementation of the strategy and addresses any gaps. - To oversee the development and implementation of PPDA’s
communication strategy and ensure that it communicates the objectives and
achievements of the Authority. - To ensure that the ICT resourcing needs of PPDA are efficiently
managed / delivered in the most cost effective manner possible and are
consistently providing quality technical services/ support to both
internal and external stakeholders. - To take lead in the development of writing proposals/ grants to
ensure consistent funding and sustainability of PPDA activities. - To develop strategic relations with PPDA’s stakeholders and partners
at a National and International level. - To identify and effectively manage PPDA’s organizational risks in
order to maximize achievement of organizational objectives and provide
guidance on the effectiveness of the risk management strategies and
interventions implemented. - To develop a system for effective monitoring of the PPDA
recommendations arising from audits and investigations. - To develop and implement departmental work plans and report
periodically the progress of implementation. - To lead staff in the Directorate in a manner that empowers them to
deliver excellent customer service and high standards of services. - To ensure that all financial transactions managed by the directorate
are carried out in accordance with PPDA’s policies and procedures.
- The ideal candidate for the Public Procurement and Disposal of
Public Assets Authority (PPDA) Director Corporate Affairs job placement
must hold an Honor’s degree in Economics, IT, Business Administration,
Commerce, Project Planning, Statistics, Public Administration or related
field - Master’s degree in any of the above fields.
- Post Graduate diploma in M&E will be an added advantage
- At least eight years’ experience with at least four (4) years at
executive level leading a function/unit/ directorate. - Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation
- Grants management & strategic partnerships development
- Communication strategy development
- Knowledge of M&E and ICT software
- Good Communication and advocacy skills
