Job Summary:   The Credit Supervisor – Administration &
Reporting will be responsible  for  overall 
credit  administration  and 
reporting  on  loan 
products  to  ensure 
loan  portfolio  growth 
and  accurate  reporting. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Generate,  review  and 
    maintain  loan  performance  reports 
    for  presentation  to 
    Credit  Committees  in 
    accordance  to  the 
    credit  policy  and 
    guidelines.
  • Review  of  the 
    products  targets  and 
    analyse  anticipated  growth 
    trends.
  • Prepare  monthly  MCC 
    reports,  weekly  ExCom 
    reports  and  other 
    relevant  periodical  credit 
    reports  for  different  stakeholders
  • Review  loan  forms 
    and  liaise  with 
    senior  credit  managers 
    to  ensure  all 
    loan  documents  are 
    up  to  date 
    and  in  line 
    with  the  approved 
    policies  and  procedures.
  • Obtain  and  review 
    periodical  reports  from 
    branches  and  regions 
    to  ensure  accurate 
    reporting  to  the 
    different  stakeholders..
  • Liaise  with  senior 
    credit  managers  to 
    provide  relevant  credit 
    data  to  different  stake 
    holders  for  decision 
    making.
  • Identify  non-performing  accounts 
    with  irregularities  and 
    proactively  follow-up  to 
    ensure  corrective  action 
    taken  in  line 
    with  credit  policy.
  • Prepare  reports  on 
    non-performing  accounts  with 
    irregularities  to  management.
  • Provide  relevant  credit 
    data  for  budgeting  purposes
  • Work closely with the legal 
    department  to  track 
    the  performance  of 
    debt  collectors  in 
    relation  to  debt 
    recovery  in  line 
    with  Pride’s  delinquency  management  procedures
  • Prepare  annual  credit 
    projections  and  submit 
    them  to  relevant 
    stakeholders
  • Track  the  performance  of 
    recovery  on  written 
    off  loans 
  • Prepare and submit monthly 
    reports  for  loans 
    due  for  write 
    off  and  submit 
    it  to  HCB 
    for  seeking  approval 
    from  the  board 
    and  ensure  approved 
    loans  for  write 
    off  are  written 
    off  at  end 
    of  month.
  • Consolidate  responses  for 
    Matters  arising  from 
    meetings  of  different  stake 
    holders
  • Ensure  proper  documentation  and 
    filing  of  all 
    credit  documents.
  • Obtain  timely  responses  on 
    audit  and  compliance  findings 
    from  branches  and 
    regions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate for the Pride Credit Supervisor – Administration
    & Reporting job placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s  degree  
    in  Commerce,  Economics,  Microfinance,  and 
    Business  Administration  or 
    any relevant  /related  field. 
  • Three years  of working  experience  in 
    Pride  microfinance
  • Business  Acumen  skills.
  • Good problem solving  and  decision-making  skills.
  • Excellent communication 
    and  reporting  skills.
  • Good planning  and  administration  skills
  • Analysis  skills.
  • Computer  skills  with 
    advanced  knowledge  of 
    Microsoft  excel
  • Team  work  and 
    interpersonal  skills.
  • Age: Below 35 years.
