Job Summary:  The Project Liaison Officer will work closely
with the senior program manager on all project work to enhance successful
implantation of the SAFE project in relation to the set required standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as the immediate focal person with all Stakeholders at the
    field offices.
  • Regularly Liaise with WFP field offices, DLG’s, Camp Management and
    School officials as the project demands.
  • With the support from the Senior Project Manager, design project
    implementation layout and timeframes for deliverables.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and
    information.
  • Set operational objectives and achieving implementation by preparing
    and completing action plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documents e.g: plans,
    reports,’minutes, contracts, correspondences, and others as applicable.
  • Overseeing project implementation and timely preparation and
    submission of activity progress and periodic reports.
  • Monitoring project progress and respond to any issues that may
    arise. Ensuring that standards and requirements are met through conducting
    quality assurance testing.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The International Lifeline Fund Project Liaison Officer should hold
    a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or any other social science
    studies
  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in management of Environment and Energy
    Efficient Technologies and M&E activities will have an added
    advantage.
  • Knowledge of local language in the area of operation and prior
    working experience on WFP project is a plus.
