coordination and management of project activities including financial
management. S/he will train and provide monitoring and evaluation tools to the
trained lead mothers and fathers, and facilitators to assess progress against
the set objectives of the project. S/he will coordinate with the PM to
represent and report on project activities as may require at all levels of
project operation (Local churches, settlement leaders, partners and Government
Administration). S/he must be a mature Christian willing to enshrine and promote
biblical principles in his or her work. Should be willing to spend full time in
the settlement and be a team player willing to build a healthy relationship
with project staff and the community. Applicants must be strong Christians and
agree with and uphold the values and objectives of the organization to be
considered for this position. The Project Officer will report directly to the
Project Manager.
- Work closely with the project staff and implementing partner, conduct
monthly meetings, identify challenges and address them. - Ensure all project activities are conducted in accordance with the
agreed work-plans and proposals. - Work closely with the PM to ensure effective budget management,
including correct coding of expenses and adherence to SP’s financial
management guidelines. - Submit monthly, semiannual and annual reports to the supervisor,
including progress against objectives, activity summary, issues faced,
impact stories, participant attendance, testimonies, and photos. - Develop and expand the project in accordance with agreed strategy
and relevant opportunities at field level. - Mobilize and sensitize leaders (Lead mothers, fathers and
Facilitators) for SGBV and Trauma healing Programming like, trainings,
mentoring and community outreaches. - Carry out monthly review meetings, mentoring with trained Lead
mothers, fathers and facilitators. - Monitor and validate project activities to see that the training
curriculum is being used as required. - Give a hand to the M&E team during the baseline and end line
surveys of project activities. - Provide professional representation of SP at meetings with Churches,
camp management, government, donor and civil society partners. Actively
engage with these and other valuable contacts to increase support for SP
programming. - Work collaboratively with the PM and AC in the set-up of the project
activities including financial, logistical, personnel and on-site support
where required. - Work with the PM to develop monitoring tools to measure SGBV and
Trauma levels both at individual and community level. - Periodically identify needs, develop project ideas and submit to the
PM.

Healing Project job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
in Community Psychology, Counselling and Guidance, Bible Studies,
Community Leadership, Education, Development Studies, Social works and
Social Administration, Social Sciences discipline from a recognised institution.
- Good computer knowledge especially in Word and Excel and must have a
Biblical Training. - Highly personable and result orientated
