Children-Uganda (JFCU) is a non-profit children’s rights organization
established in 2005 to respond to the plight of vulnerable children in Uganda.
Dedicated to working with children, families and communities to end injustice
to children. The organization has its head office in Kampala, field offices in
Kabarole district and another field office to be established in Lango sub
region . JFCU also hosts and coordinates Girls Not Brides Uganda, a National
Alliance to End Child Marriage with over 80 NGOs in the different parts of
Uganda to end child marriage. We are committed to protection of children and
the applicants that have a high track record of child protection will be
considered.
Uganda (JFCU) will be implementing a three -year project on mitigating social
risks associated with Gender –Based Violence (GBV) and Violence against Children
(VAC) in the districts of Lira, Oyam, Kole and Dokolo.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Team Leader must hold a Master’s Degree or above in Social
Sciences related course from a recognised Institution. - Post-graduate training in project planning and Management of
Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage. - Eight years’ experience in leading and managing similar community
development projects is a must. - Extensive knowledge GBV and VAC and legal and cultural issues in
Uganda is mandatory used in the Lango Cluster along NERAMP.
