Job Summary: The Ready Mix Concrete Batch Plant Manager
will also conduct product and raw material tests and make recommendations to
improve the quality of our concrete and precast products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily tests of raw materials and
finished concrete products. - To assists in maintaining regulatory
compliance documentation. - Ensure product labeling/stenciling
conforms to requirements. - Assist & Perform monthly &
annual material testing & calibrations, ensuring that all materials
used meet or exceed regulatory requirements. - Recommend corrective actions on mix
design to engineering as needed. - Conduct daily yard inspections to ensure
product and material quality. - Management of laboratory test equipment
in his department - To carry out sampling and testing on
site.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
degree or Diploma in construction management, civil engineering. - Any relevant professional/technical
certification with hands-on experience. - Ability to operate a computer and
supporting software packages. - Ability to properly use concrete lab
equipment e.g. Lab oven, lab scales, slump cone, unit weight bucket, air
meter, thermometer, tape measure, sand-equivalent/hydrometer, sieve
analysis & sand equivalent shaker, Schmidt Hammer, organic impurities
test). - Maintain thorough knowledge of precast
processes and equipment and have a workable knowledge of technological
development and best practices.
