Management Systems Specialist
Uganda through Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development is
implementing Chemical Safety and Security Project. The Project goal is to
strengthen institutional, technical and operational capabilities in chemical,
biological radiological, nuclear and explosive emergency planning, response and
management through (i) strengthening effective detection, prevention and
response of chemical, biological radiological, nuclear and explosive terror and
related incidents attacks (ii) promotion of education and awareness on
effective detection, prevention and response of chemical, biological radiological,
nuclear and explosive terror and related incidents attacks among stakeholders
and general public and (iii) strengthening coordination mechanisms in effective
detection, prevention and response of chemical, biological radiological,
nuclear and explosive terror and related incidents attacks.
The Information Technology Assistant will provide support in the design,
development and maintenance of the projects/Programmes information management
systems
- Support control registration and processing of all classified
declarations and verification- related documents and their availability
either within electronic systems or in hardcopy: - Support the design, implementation and support of an Electronic
Content Management System (ECM) solutions for the management electronic
records - Support the development of quality assurance controls for classified
information provided to States Parties: - Assist in the management and maintenance of good records and
archives management practice: - Support the Green Jobs Management Unit in the designing, development
and maintenance of information Management System. - Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- The applicant must hold a University Degree in Information
Management, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven communication (verbal and
written) skills, including ability to prepare reports; - Teamwork
- Commitment to continuous learning is
essential.
