country-wide service network. Tata Uganda also has other business interests
such as distribution of agriculture machinery and implements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- User Support – supports users in PCs, laptops and troubleshooting of
computer problems. - Deploys ERPs i.e. Navision and Incadea systems.
- In charge of networking LAN and WAN.
- Creates new users in AD domain and installs new work stations.
- Creates IT related tickets through system and ensures
closure/updates to users. - Reviews ICT policies which include security within the networks,
finance and performs regular system updates. - Configures new user email IDs, in outlook.
- Updates IT Inventory.
- Updates anti-virus, windows and takes regularly back-ups.
- Maintenance of company IT hardware’s (i.e. CCTV, PCs, Laptops,
Printers, Switches, etc.). - Maintenance and troubleshooting of PABX and telephone lines
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the IT Administrator job must hold a B. Sc in IT
- Professional IT certifications i.e. MCSE
- At least five years of experience.
- Five (5) years’ hands on experience in IT hard/software.
