- To check all loan documents received
through the E Docs Portal and whether they have all the requirements as
per BFS policies and procedures. To perform preliminary fraud checks by
verifying signatures of approving authority, verification of correctness
of attached documents. - To make checks with Public service
database, mobile platform, credit policy, affordability calculator and
consulting the old documents for existing clients whether the client can
afford the loan or not. To capture and issue information for new clients
and updating existing clients’ information in the System. - To scan all authentic loan documents
that have been captured in the System and update the scanned database
where need be. - To recommend authentic loan documents
for approval and decline sub-standard loan documents with clearly stated
reasons attached. To receive and attach corrections from branches. - To Guide the branch Sales teams on all
the areas for correction on a declined loan application through a onetime
communication in order to avoid back and forth. - Guidance on preparation of Declines
report for management and Sales team reporting purposes - Maintain a strict Loan Processing Turn
Around Time measure per document of not more than 15 minutes per document
for a full Loan Application review. - Maintain an un biased position of loan
application processing with no favouritism or Occasional duties:
new Quality Control Officers on policies and procedures
extra time at the end of day in cases of un foreseen circumstances with main
goal of serving all the clients for the day
Decision making:
decline or recommend loan applications for pre-approval at the next level
loans.

- One-time guidance to the Branch Teams on all issues on loan
application - One-time guidance to the Branch Team on all the issues with a loan
application
- The applicant for the Quality Control Officer must hold a Diploma in
business studies or its equivalent. - A minimum of one year of experience working as a Sales Agent with
Bayport financial services or any other financial institution is an added
advantage - Computer literacy skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work
- Recommend the right documentation required for loan application
approval to the sales team - Refer Fraudulent applications to the Forensics Department
working and applying their minds to reviewing the QC origination process
