is owned by the Madhavani Group and it is extracted from cane grown on lush
plantations on the shores of Lake Victoria. The sweet, sparkling crystals with
their distinctive taste and flavour, and rich golden colour, have sweetened
dishes all over Uganda since the 1930s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Arranging relevant repair orders and maintenance schedules in order
    to rectify the breakdowns
  • Supervising the installation of new electrical gadgets and
    components in accordance with the manufacturers’ manuals.
  • Supervising all repairs and maintenance work on transformers and substations
    on the estate.
  • Supervising all routine maintenance operations, establishing and
    maintaining scheduled inspections of electrical systems throughout the
    estate to minimize costs and achieve efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • Applicants should be holders of Bachelors of Sc. Degree in
    Electrical Engineering from a reputable University.
  • Applicants should have at least a minimum of 5 (five) years hands on
    experience in a process industry, 3 (three) years of which should have
    been in a processing company at a supervisory level.
  • Age: 30 years and
    above
