Job Summary: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will support its construction works throughout Uganda and
East African region.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender bids on assigned contracts and have thorough knowledge
on preparation of Prequalification documents, - Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) from drawings,
- Prepare and compare committed budget including preliminaries against
actual project construction cost and monitor project wise expenses
periodically for presentation to the Management of the company, - Liaise with Sr. Contracts Manager to resolve any contractual
disputes arising in any project being executed, - Assist in finalizing project accounts within the required time frame
and monitor project wise cash flows – budget vs. actual progress, - Make advisories in the procurement of materials, tools &
equipment as required in the Project sites. - The incumbent will be heading a team of both office and site-based
Quantity Surveyors and Technical Officers. - He/ she must be able to head, control and direct the subordinate
staff with responsibilities and follow up to ensure effective time and
cost management and accuracy of the allocated duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Applicant for the post must hold a B. Sc. Degree in Quantity
Surveying, - Previous eight to ten years’ experience or more as QS on / off-site
in a medium-large size construction setup, and must be willing to travel
to sites in remote areas, as instructed. - The applicant must have excellent knowledge of MS Office,
specifically MS Project. - Additionally, being qualified in AutoCAD / ArchiCAD 2017 / BIM /
Primavera would be an extra benefit.
