• Implement and undertake a comprehensive program of audit, risk and
  assurance with agreed budgets and time scales,
• Guide Council on matters of financial utilization and
  accountability,
• Prepare statutory audit reports and submit to relevant authorities,
• Follow up on audit recommendations,
• Conduct manpower audit to ensure conformity with the established
  policies and guidelines,
• Audit revenue collections and all monies due to the Council,
• Audit procurement of goods and services to ensure value for money,
• Identify, develop and document audit issues and recommendations
  using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed
• Perform other duties incidental to the above assigned from time to
  time 

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and
  Finance, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting option) or
  equivalent qualification from a recognized institution,
• Must be a member of ICPAU or IIA
• Two years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization
• Computer literacy i.e. wide knowledge of Microsoft excel, Word,
  PowerPoint and use accounting systems and techniques
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the accounting standards and
  regulations with ability to work under minimum supervision
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer and writing skills
