(FSL) is a private limited Firm established in 2006 to provide Veterinary
Medicines, Agricultural Chemicals, improved seeds, and extension services. To
date, the firm has expanded into six sales outlets and it operates three farms
engaged in mixed farming and a nursery bed. Effective 2017, a new business
model was developed aimed at turning around the Company into Agricultural
production.

Job Summary: The Crop Assistant (Crop Retail Section) will
manage Agricultural inputs’ outlets and increase revenue through sale of
products

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of the Sales outlets for Agricultural
inputs as per deployment - Ensure Agricultural inputs are sold within strategically agreed time
frames while attaining profit levels and stock counts are undertaken - Ensure cash and cash equivalents are banked timely and intact
- Market products and sensitize customers and general public and
inspire them about use of company products and modern facilities available
on market. - Ensure that all goods are properly received into stores,
appropriately and put under safe custody - Ensure that goods received are properly categorized, priced, costed
as well as proper periodic stock-taking is carried out in a timely manner - Carry out Stock reconciliations such that stock balances are
monitored & communicated, necessary stock transfers are done and
obsolete stock is identified - Prepare monthly and annual reports on the performance of the outlet
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in Agriculture or in related
discipline from a recognized Institution - Ability to work for long hours
- Persuasive and motivational personality
- Integrity
- Effective communication
- Self-driven
- Interpersonal and human relations skills
- Analytical and judgmental skills
- Customer care
