capacity development, partnerships and service-linkages.
- To carry out laboratory tests to support disease diagnosis.
- Analyzing and interpreting laboratory results and submitting reports
- Liaising with ward management in preparation oi patient for
laboratory tests. - Advising clinical staff in collection, handling and transpcr4ting of
specimens to the laboratory. - Requesting and accounting tor laboratory materials and sunrise
- Maintaining an inventory of the laboratory equipment and ensure
their functionality. - Enforcing safety and quality control measures in the laboratory
- Compiling, analyzing and preparing performance reports for submission
to relevant authorities - Participating in quality assurance for laboratories
- The Laboratory Technologist must hold a National Diploma in medical
laboratory techniques or its equivalent from a recognized institution and
also be registered with Allied Health professional council. - Two years of experience working in a reputable busy hospital.
