Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participating in formulation and preparation of policies, plans and
programs to support the development of logistics in Uganda; - Participating in monitoring, and evaluation of policies, plans and
programs in the logistics sector; - Initiating and reviewing the policies, plans, programs in the
logistics sector/industry; - Participating in monitoring supervision and coordination of the
logistics sector in Uganda; - Preparing performance indicators, key outputs and targets in respect
to logistics sector as and when required by
Ministries/Departments/Agencies; - Participating in preparation of procurement plans for the
department; - Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Transport
Economics or Economic Policy and Planning; or Transport and Logistics or
Business Administration from a recognized University/Institution.
