Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures and analyze all
financial objectives in the Fleet Department. - Work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce
downtime due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance. - Ensure that vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders
by scheduling and monitoring current trends in the industry, so as to
enable forecasts. - Develop, implement and enforce vehicle management best practices,
policies and procedures. - Participate in planning, processing and execution of motor vehicle
purchases, disposal and replacement processes in an efficient manners - Facilitate and implement corrective actions and capacity building
for the fleet management team members. - Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with local and
national rules and regulations. - Ensure proper registration status of all company vehicles.
- Follow up on the motor vehicle insurance licensing and renewal
processes. - Monitor fuel purchases by administering fuel cards for all vehicles
to their respective drivers. This is done in order to regulate costs and
expenses.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Fleet Manager must hold BTLM, B.Motor Vehicle Eng.
- At least three years of working experience in a service or
manufacturing industry - Age: Below 45
years old.
