Uganda offering a number of academic programmes in line with vocational
education, teacher training, hands-on engineering, special needs training,
social sciences, pure and applied sciences, entrepreneurship and management
that meet the Market remands and development needs of the Country. The

Innovation and Knowledge Generation; Physical Infrastructure, Facilities and
ICT Development; Institutional Development and Strategic Marketing.

- The applicant must hold a PhD in Library and information Science
from a recognized University/Institution. - Master’s Degree in Library and information Science or Information
Science from a recognized University/institution; and - Bachelors Degree in Library and information Science, information
Studies, information Technology, Information Systems or in Humanities or
Science from a recognized University/institution, - At least seven (7) years‘ experience demonstrating increasing levels
of responsibilities. professional experience and leadership in academic
library of a reputable institution; five (5) of which should have been
served at the level of Senior Librarian and above. - PUBLICATIONS: Must have five (5) Scholarly publications from the
time of last appointment to Senior Librarian position. - Age Limit: between
40 and 55 years old at the time of application.
