- Project volumes anticipated from each project by obtaining reports
on acreage and crop performance. - Manage the procurement process by setting up buying centers and
equipping them with staff for procurement. - Identify traders, draw up contracts and negotiate prices for
procurement. - Closely work with sales and factory to ascertain demand and plan
product sourcing accordingly. - Compute quantity reconciliations so we keep track of inventory
movements and proper accountability. - Oversee projects to ensure company set volumes and quality standards
are met - Supervise field activities to ensure farmers have clear and complete
documentation for certification - Identify gaps in the supply chain system and design appropriate
controls to close the gaps and ensure efficiency.
- The Supply Chain/Project Manager must hold a Degree in Agriculture,
or Supply chain and management - Supply chain/procurement is an added advantage.
- Six to ten years of relevant experience in agricultural commodity
supply chain and project management. - Experience in Organic Agri-commodity management will be an added
advantage.
