Development Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in 2000 by Her
Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda, the Nnabagereka (queen) of the Kingdom of
Buganda, as one of the entities of the Buganda Kingdom. The Foundation’s
mission is: “Leveraging culture to improve the quality of life of
children, youth and women”. The Foundation works towards social
transformation and aims to build a new generation through the revival of
Obuntubulamu as an asset that can shape humanness, character and civility. The
Foundation is mission-driven with a national, regional and global reach and has
active chapters in the United Kingdom and in the United States of America.
Management Associate will assist in the implementation of the Foundation;s
communications policy and strategy and provide administrative support to
programmes and internal teams. The Management Associate reports to the
Foundation Manager and collaborates with the Finance and Administration
Coordinator and the Programme Coordinator.
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in
communications, management or related field. - Strong organizational skills with ability to perform multiple tasks
with excellent attention to detail. - Proficiency in Computer skills and interactive media
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
