About US:
Mandated by the
Uganda Cancer Institute Act of 2016, the UCI is an autonomous body, with the
mandate to, among others, undertake and coordinate the management of cancer and
cancer-related diseases in Uganda. It is critical to the evolution of a
National Centre of Excellence, providing specialized treatment and care for all
types of cancer using all the available subspecialty expertise possible, as well
as engineering oncology-centered research and training.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles departmental domestic services
- Prepares menu for patients
- Monitors and follows up food distribution to wards and all other
units including meetings - Enforces punctuality, orderliness and discipline in all catering
units - Handles the training of new staff and students on industrial
training - Compiles and submits periodic reports of the Unit
- Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor from
time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) Catering Officer
job must be a Ugandan holding a Diploma in Catering from a recognized
institution OR Certificate in Institutional Catering.
