Complete

Ensure
standards performances are exceeded constantly.
Continually
monitor the Human Assets Department staff performance in all the service steps
and job tasks, correcting any deficiency immediately.
Supervise
the relationship between personnel department staff and the rest of employees.
Keeping an ambiance warm and welcoming for everyone.
Support
the Human Assets Team functions to enhance service provided to employees.
Coach
the employees to ensure the best service is provided to our external guests.
Keep the
compliance with all the current laws and regulations in regards Human Assets:
Keep
updated job descriptions for all the positions of the organization
Identify
and use external recruitment sources.
Ensure
all the applications, recruitment interviews and the hiring process for all the
candidates is handled professionally in line with the policies and procedures
of the organization
Design
and implement a good orientation program for all the new hires.
Ensure
an updated administration of all employees’ files.
Conduct,
supervise and evaluate all the in-house training sessions and workshops.
Give
feedback in regards to the Human Assets staff performance. Ensure disciplinary
processes are handled professionally under the progressive discipline standard.
Coach the employees.
Establish
the guideline to conduct periodic performance evaluations of the whole
organization employees. Ensure this is done on timely manner and is filed
accordingly.
Follow
the progressive discipline standard. Supervise its implementation and
periodically conduct training sessions for supervisors and managers. Ensure
proper documentation if submitted and filed in every discipline process.
Ensure
the exit interview process is in place and professional feedback is maintained
and share with management.
Audit
personnel benefits administration.
Conduct
spot checks on payroll calculation.
Complete
and keep current salaries and benefits surveys on the market place.
Monitor
the completion on all the personnel in regards to insurance and social
benefits.
Complete
all the local governmental documentation related to labor, employee issues.
Complete
application and documentation related to foreign working permits.
Coordinate
the staff change of status and personnel authorization application are
documented in the authorized format (PAF) for:
Build
relations with local security and health agencies to liaise with in case of
emergencies.
Design,
implement and coordinate recognition and motivation programs for the
organization employees.
Together
with the Executive Committee propose implement and coordinate the annual plan
of social and sports employee’s activities.
Coordinate
the organization social community participation.
Keep
updated the employee handbook.
Prepare
the annual Human Assets budget. Keep monitoring “actual vs budget” Human Assets
expenses to keep them in line.
Ensure
to keep the safety and confidential of personnel files.
Participate
in all the Executive Committee and employee related meetings.
Prepare
and submit the Human Assets Corporate reports.
Instill
and promote a cooperative work environment, enhancing productivity and employee
morale.
All the
rest of activities required as per General Manager or Corporate Office.
The
applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Human resource management, or business
administration
Post graduate
diploma in same field
Advanced
Certificate in administrative law added advantage
At least
ten years’ experience as Director of Human Resources in any reputable
Organization.
General
Skills: Attention to details, perform tasks correct and fast, ability to
prioritize, organize and follow up. Clear mind, with cold approach to solve
conflicts with good judgment. Follow directions with integrity. Capable to
understand employee’s needs. Work in teams and with minimum supervision. Be
capable to keep confidentiality.
Ability
to organize tasks and assign responsibilities. Ability to train employees and
help them to develop knowledge and skills. With strong understanding of the
training process.
Strong
planning abilities,
Deep
understanding of the labor law and government labor dispositions. Strong
understanding of benefits administration. Strong knowledge and ability to
prepare and control budget. Strong ability to use Microsoft products.
Language:
Fluent writing and speaking English with and advantage for a second and third
language. Preferable Swahili.
Leadership,
Management and development of the HR team to ensure consistent achievement of
departmental goals and targets.
Must be
able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
Requires
good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability
to work with in a cross-cultural environment and willingness to understand and
learn Chinese culture.
Objective
minded in solving any staff misunderstanding in the company.
Must be
available to work occasional nights, holidays and weekends
