Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the bi-weekly video announcements, Testimonies /Ads
and effectively deliver final news by Thursday for a played back at all
Watoto Church campuses. - Provide concepts, scripts, rough cuts, and graphic treatments to
Senior Producer for approval and endeavor to archive source materials,
finished media and project files. - Responsible for shooting, editing, applying and mixing audio on
media artefacts assigned to the standards set by communication services. - Write, produce, film and edit, ‘Testimonies’ or ‘Advertisements’
weekly to air on various distribution channels set out by the senior
producer. - Submit a final recording of the Sermon, creatively packaged
including proper graphics, audio mix and providing an audio podcast for
distribution on YouTube and iTunes respectively every week. This should be
archived regularly. - Design and make use of graphics templates for creating infographics.
- Supervising and managing the progress of the project from
pre-production to post production to deliver high quality productions that
are at leading edge of production and delivery. - Regularly email with Senior Producer providing updates on consigned
projects, completed weekly assignment sheets and should stay up to date
with other Watoto video needs. - Mentor and coach apprentices in general production to enable their
professional growth in all areas of production and leadership in video
production. This includes supervising the associate weekly church
preditor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Watoto Weekly Church Preditor job opportunity
should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass communication, Journalism,
and any other related degree. A bias in motion multi-media production and
motion graphics is an added advantage. - Creative and passionate about video production, motion graphics and
video editing. - Basic understanding of mirrorless and DSLR cameras with good filming
knowledge including 3 point lighting, interview filming techniques, green
screen filming, live production and post production processes. - Must be able to shoot, edit, write, produce, create graphics and mix
audio with at least three years’ experience in audio/visual production and
motion graphics . - Must know and work well in Adobe Creative Suite with priority in
Premiere Pro CC, After Effects, Media encorder. - Must be flexible, adaptable, creativity, able to pay attention to
details and organised to manage multi projects and time requests
