The Nnabagereka
Development Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in 2000 by Her
Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda, the Nnabagereka (queen) of the Kingdom of
Buganda, as one of the entities of the Buganda Kingdom. The Foundation’s
mission is: “Leveraging culture to improve the quality of life of
children, youth and women”. The Foundation works towards social
transformation and aims to build a new generation through the revival of
Obuntubulamu as an asset that can shape humanness, character and civility. The Foundation
is mission-driven with a national, regional and global reach and has active
chapters in the United Kingdom and in the United States of America.

Job Summary: The Foundation Manager provides strategic
leadership and oversight to programming. Key duties include resource
mobilization, building strategic partnerships, executive management and
ensuring financial and ethical integrity of the Foundation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in
development, management or related field. - At least seven years of senior management of not-for profit or
private corporations - Knowledge of and appreciation of communications for development and
advocacy. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
