Bulamu Healthcare
International provides access to primary healthcare to the families of rural
Uganda. We operate with the underlying belief that access to professional
healthcare is a basic human right that should be available to all people,
everywhere. We operate periodic week-long health camps across the country using
local solutions and built in-country organizational strengths in Uganda to
provide continuity of patient care during and in-between camps.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Report
directly to the President of the organization.
·        
Tasked
with managing the finance, HR & Administrative functions in Uganda.
·        
Preparing
monthly management accounts, budgets for camp financing proposals, donor
reports, monitoring expenditure, and year-end and camp financials.
·        
Production
of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting
records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate
risk, manage cash, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial
results, and ensure that reported results comply with relevant generally accepted
accounting principles.
·        
Develop
financial strategies & business plans that should reflect in the annual
budget.
·        
Develop
performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
·        
Maintain
in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
·        
Work closely
with U.S based CFO to align on foreign operations and best practice while
overseeing the company’s operations in Uganda.
·        
Attend
and manage health camp book-keeping, disbursements and vendor payments.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicant
must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
·        
The
applicant must be a fully Chartered/Certified Accountant with ACCA/CPA (U).
·        
Five or more
years of progressively responsible financial experience and expertise
preferably with an NGO
·        
Operating
and implementing functionality for enterprise-level accounting systems.
·        
Proficient
oral and written communication skills
·        
Proven
financial and treasury management skills.
·        
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
·        
Excellent
interpersonal, motivational and management skills.
·        
Fluency
in English.
