Job Summary: The Accountant will support the Finance
Manager of NIMD Uganda in the discharge of their functions. The incumbent will
ensure efficient and effective implementation of the PPCSP from a financial
management and accounting perspective.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business
Administration. Finance from a recognized institution. - A professional qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA is desirable.
- Three years of professional experience in accounting in a busy
environment with good financial analytical skill. - Familiar with accounting software particularly Sage Accounting
system. - Experience in managing finances for large budgets, in particularly
donor-funded projects, including the reviewing and preparation of
financial reports. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Accuracy/attention to details.
- Computer literacy, proficient with MS Word, Excel and financial
applications.
