Hospital is a growing health institution of Ankole Diocese. It has three
departments OURS Program department, Ruharo Eye Centre department and General
Medical services department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare periodic activity plans for and submit timely progress
reports to the OURS Program assistant-VSLA. - Raise awareness in the community through information dissemination
meetings and facilitation of formation of viable Village savings groups. - Mobilize people with disabilities and caretakers for active
participation in VSLA project and build their capacity to practice the
Program model and work with other community members. - Train group members in group formation and management, Savings, Loan
and Social Fund procedures, records filling and the accounting system in
accordance with the set guidelines. - Provide support supervision to VSLA groups through guidance, records
keeping and providing immediate feedback to the members to ensure there is
compliance to the established standards. - Carry out periodic data collection, entry and storage as well as
monitoring among VSLA groups to monitor growth and submit findings to the
supervisor(s) for appropriate action. - Strictly adhere to the project policy guidelines and maintain set
standards in relation to group formation, training, data collection,
groups’ supervision schedules and self-conduct. - Promote and motivate team building among group members and fellow
Field Promoters and attend to any other duties assigned by the Program
assistant-VSLA
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an O’ level qualification, ability to
educate, organize groups in the community setting - Previous experience with community work, book keeping and ability to
use a smart phone - Residents of Ibanda and Mbarara are the most suitable candidates
