Job Summary: The Data Entrant will be responsible for
sorting, proofing, inputting, updating and storing data. This role will ensure
timely inputting of data into the information management system, data
completeness and accuracy. Performance will be measured by the number of claims
processed and the accuracy of data input

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the pre-processing of data to ensure completeness and
consistency of information and make corrections as necessary including
giving feedback and support to the health service providers on the
anomalies observed - Timely Input of data into the claims processing system as per the
programmed instructions including Reviewing data for completeness and
accuracy - Ensure paper records are filed in the appropriate filing system for
easy location of processed and unprocessed files - Document and report common data collection errors (incompleteness
and inconsistencies) to the data management lead including notifying the
vetting officers - participate in establishing and maintaining an effective and
efficient records management system - Carry out weekly clean-up of recorded data to reconcile any data
inconsistencies in the system - Monitor the system for malfunctions; report malfunctions to the data
management lead
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Data Entrant job must hold a degree in
Information technology, Social sciences, Statistics or any related
discipline - At least one year of data entry experience.
- Previous experience in operating various data-processing software,
spreadsheets, and database programs - Previous experience of data entry desirable
- Proven ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a diverse team
- Ability to work in a demanding environment
- Knowledge of sexual reproductive health an added advantage
